Regarding the suspension of Skyways Express and City Airline operations

Estonian Air informs that Swedish airline Skyways Express and its subsidiary City Airline have filed for bankruptcy.
Passengers who have bought their tickets on continuation flights with Skyways Express or City Airline from Estonian Air, will be refunded by Estonian Air.
Estonian Air is kindly asking to fill in the refund form on Estonian Air home page http://estonian-air.ee/en/travel-information/before-the-flight/flight-ticket/refund-application/.
Customers who have bought their tickets from travel agency should contact the agency respectively.
Estonian Air recommends to take travel interruption insurance, which has also additional protection against insolvency of transportation company.
Estonian Air to adjust the schedule between Kajaani and Tallinn

Since the opening of the new flight route between Kajaani and Tallinn, Estonian Air has been continuously investigating the profile of travellers and the overall conditions to ensure the sustainability of the Kajaani-Tallinn route.
The emphasis has been the development of tourism resorts by increasing the amount of inbound tourists and creating new services for tour operators. Based on feed-back from the tour operators and regional tourism companies, and in order to fit the overall market demand better, Estonian Air will adjust the flight schedule and change the aircraft type on Kajaani-Tallinn route.
“We are very pleased that Estonian Air has worked closely with us to improve the departure and arrival times based on feed-back from customers and partners”, comments Carl Wideman, the FDI-Business Development Director from Kainuun Etu Oy.
As of 01 June Estonian Air flights will departure from Kajaani to Tallinn at 15:25 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and at 21:00 on Sundays.

From January to April 2012, Estonian Air increased its market share on regular flights in Tallinn Airport from 34.8% to 48.2%, making a total increase of 13.4% percentage points. The total market share of the airline increased to 44,6%, which is 16,6% percentage points higher compared to the same period last year.
“We have intensively increased our market share in the domestic market and thus we have driven the growth in Tallinn Airport. The first four months of the year has clearly showed that our new strategy is sustainable,” said Rauno Parras, the CCO of Estonian Air.
In the first four months of 2012, Estonian Air carried altogether 224 826 passengers, which is 33.3% more than during the same period last year. On regular flights Estonian Air carried 224 386 passengers, which is 39.98% more than last year.

Today 14 May, Chef de Cuisine of Egoist Heidi Pinnak and the head of the Estonian Culinary Institute Dimitri Demjanov will be on board of Tallinn-London-Tallinn flight to personally introduce and serve the restaurant’s dishes to Premium class passengers.
The dishes are specially made for the Sky Restaurant. Sole Meuniere and Tarte Tatin are served on Tallinn-London flight. On the way back, the passengers will be treated by Järveotsa quail Remply and Pajumäe quark dessert. The wine is chosen to be Joh. Jos. Prüm Riesling Cabinet 2011.
Egoist is very highly appreciated in Estonia as well as abroad. The restaurant has made it to the San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants and this makes it the first restaurant in the Baltic area ever mentioned in that list.
“The entire concept of the Egoist has now been transferred on board the planes of Estonian Air. It is a very close and friendly association of the Estonian and French cuisine, “said Dimitri Demjanov.
