Flights to Trondheim Buy
We're not going to lie to you — Trondheim is not the funkiest town on the planet. It's nice and ticks many boxes, but what's perhaps more notable is what's around Trondheim.
Trondheim offers easy access to a breath-takingly beautiful part of Norway. See the magnificent fjords, go for an unforgettable walk, treat yourself to a perfect fishing day or go skiing the 'Alps of Scandinavia'. Just give it a go, and you'll see how easy it is to become a Norgesvenn (that's someone that has been to the country more than once).
It's 35 km to Trondheim and you can either catch the Airport bus or take a train there. There are good local and long distance train connections from the Værnes airport, as well as direct buses to Åre ski resorts. Taxi to Trondheim is a bit pricey, costing 500 NOK if you're on your own or 250 NOK if you're sharing a pre-booked ride. “
