Trip cancellation coverage
The trip you have planned for a long time with excitement may turn out not to be possible due to sudden illness. It is good to know that in that case part of your cost will be compensated if you purchase trip cancellation coverage.
Conditions
- Cost of flight ticket will be refunded in case it is cancelled due to sudden illness or deterioration of chronic illness of the passenger or his/her immediate family member (child, husband/wife or parent) on the day of departure stated on the flight ticket. Service fee and cost of other services purchased together with the flight ticket will not be refunded.
- In case tickets for two or more passengers have been purchased within one booking, trip cancellation coverage is valid only if all the passengers have purchased trip cancellation coverage.
- Trip cancellation coverage must be ordered and paid for together with payment for flight ticket. Trip cancellation coverage costs 20€per passenger. Confirmation will be sent to customer’s e-mail address in a separate e-mail message.
- It is not possible to purchase a separate trip cancellation coverage for infants (0-24 months). In case trip cancellation coverage has been purchased for other passengers in the booking, the conditions will also apply to the infant.
- In order to cancel the trip, the passenger must contact Estonian Air by e-mail info@estonian-air.ee or by fax (+372) 6401 161 before the time of departure stated on the ticket.
- Booking reference and medical certificate shall be sent to Estonian Air within 7 days from the date of cancellation request.
- For getting the refund we kindly ask you to fill out the Refund application link, stating in the comments field “trip cancellation coverage”.
- Medical certificates in Estonian, German, Russian and English are accepted.
- Tickets where at least one segment has been used are not subject to refund.
- Trip cancellation coverage cannot be purchased for domestic flights (Tallinn-Kuressaare-Tallinn).
