Estonian Air Sky Restaurant started from 1 September 2011. In February our Premium class passengers will be served food that is made by using the recipes of restaurant Fish & Wine’s Chef de Cuisine Riho Heinmets.

Estonian Air Sky Restaurant is part of Estonian Air renewal. Our goal is to introduce our customers the high level of Estonian restaurants and make it in an extraordinary way – on board of Estonian Air aircraft. We want to turn a flight into a memorable event by offering tasteful food and turning in-flight catering service into a sky restaurant experience.
Restaurant Fish & Wine has prepared menu that will be on board in February. This menu consists of twelve different meals, but the serving of the meal depends on the length of the flight.
Once a month restaurant Chef de Cuisine will be personally on board. On 21 Feburary a very special gourmet flight will take place from Tallinn to Brussels and backwards. Meals will be prepared in restaurant Fish & Wine and Riho Heinmets personally will serve and talk about the food and its concept.
Restaurant Fish & Wine
Right in the very heart of the Old Town of Tallinn, only a few metres from the Town Hall Square there is one of the favourite restaurants of the citizens of Tallinn, Fish&Wine. Fish&Wine was recently voted among the best restaurants in Estonia showing that public opinion coincides with the one of food critics and the only thing left to do is to keep up the good work.
The menu, as the name of the restaurant suggests, comprises mainly fish and seafood dishes with the exception of a few meat dishes. Fish&Wine serves dishes made of wide selection of fishes, mussels, scallops and oysters offering tasting experiences for the most demanding customers. The food is complemented by carefully selected wines earning their mention in the restaurant’s name.
In case you would prefer a wine not included in the wine list you are welcome to visit the Bestwine wine store accessible from the ground floor of the restaurant. Selected wine will be brought to you in the restaurant for your enjoyment. Food presentation as well as the interior design and tableware follow a scant, neat and simple style. Flavours are also pure and natural. In order to make use of the fresh local foodstuffs part of the menu is changed depending on the season and availability. The a´la carte menu is also made more versatile with weekly special offers the ideas for which are derived from visiting local markets. Some of the dishes, however, have earned their place among “the good-old-classics” as they have survived all the menu changes during the past six years the restaurant has existed. All the new ideas for new dishes are the results of the joint efforts of the Chef de Cuisine, Riho, and two young female owners of the restaurant, Merlin and Monika. New menus are born after spending long nights at the degustation table accompanied by wines not only to calm down the passionate debates but also to become worthy companions to the new dishes.
Fish&Wine is a place for enjoying a glass of wine while reading a good book or for enjoying delicious dishes and wine in a larger company. The ground floor houses a cosy cafe and a bar, the first floor is occupied by the restaurant while the second floor offers splendid opportunities for private gatherings, seminars or business events. The atmosphere is complemented by the magnificent view of the medieval church of St Nicholas and the slopes of the Harjumäe Hill.
