Flights to Kuressaare Buy
You can find plenty peace and quiet in Kuressaare, a picturesque small town on the Estonia’s biggest island Saaremaa. You can also find a lot of mud – since the 19th century people have travelled here to enjoy the curative properties of local mud. Each summer the medieval bishop’s castle echoes with classical music during the unique Saaremaa Opera Days festival. A walking distance from the castle there is a 18-hole championship-level golf course. The neighboring Sõrve peninsula is a great location for bird-watching, especially in autumn. For the ostrich, the nandu and the emu you will have to travel slightly further though, to the Laasu ostrich farm on the Muhu island between Saaremaa and mainland Estonia.
Airport to city center transport
Buses No. 2, No. 12 and No. 3 connect the airport to the Kuressaare city center. A taxi drive to the town will cost about 7 €.
