Flights to Jyväskylä Buy

Jyväskylä is famous for its Neste Oil Rally Finland, formerly known as the 1000 Lakes Rally. Jyväskylän Suurajot, as the Finns call it, is the biggest annual public event in the Nordic countries, attracting more than 500,000 rally fans each year. The great Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto lived and worked here for many years, contributing significantly to the city’s architecture. The Alvar Aalto museum can also be found here. Jyväskylä is home to one of Finland’s most popular universities, the University of Jyväskylä.

Airport to city center transport

A bus departs after each airplane arrival. Tickets €5. A taxi from the airport to Jyväskylä takes 15-20 minutes and costs about 35 €.
